Cub Scouting is all about fun and interesting activities for boys and girls aged 7 – 10 1/2 years old.
How? Simple. Everything in Cub Scouts is designed to have the children ‘learning by doing’. It’s about adventure and meeting new friends your age. You will get a chance to try out so many different activities that you never knew existed … with Sliema Cubs is FUN!
You will develop your skills and talents, achieve badges such as swimmers, collectors, cooking, exploring and music. What’s great about it all is that you receive a badge to wear on your uniform. Cub Scouts get to go on trips and activities, to different places like the countryside, animal farms, outdoor cooking, hikes and of course we can’t forget that you will be able to go camping.
Weekly meetings are usually held on Thursdays (6:00pm to 8:00pm) at our HQ in Depiro Street where we play games, learn new skills and do other fun stuff. In the summer months we also make use of our boathouse near the slipway off Tower Road and also have activities at Independence Gardens.
